It was, in the end, an agreement of compromise. Whilst the Glasgow Climate Pact agreed at the UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) on Saturday firms up the global commitment to accelerate action on climate this decade, it left many wondering if this deal is enough to limit global warming to 1.5°C over pre-industrial levels. “It is an important step but is not enough,” said ...
2022.01.26 23:26 Jeff50Yup LLC Closed - IRS Came Knocking
In 2015 several partners created an LLC - in that initial year, the taxes were filed with a couple accidental errors. In 2016, the LLC partnered with a professional firm who amended the 2015 return as part of the 2016 filing, paying all obligations.
In 2020 the LLC disbanded filing all appropriate paperwork, including filing a final tax return in April of 2021. A notice arrived, from a collection agency (DD was conducted, agency is legit IRS contractor, CBE) with a couple thousand dollar missing payment and a ridiculous penalty 5x that.
The professional firm who amended the 2015 in 2016 offered to help but wants $2,500 to re-engage them. Previous partners haven't talked in over a year and this is a painful topic, but can the IRS even collect this debt since the LLC is closed? What happens if it is not paid, will they go after the former LLC members individually?
What is the next best course of action for the former partners? Is this a nonstarter because the LLC of totally shut down with appropriate paperwork filed?
Frustrating this is even legal that 7 years later the IRS can come back and say oh oh sorry actually the business messed this up, and THE BUSINESS owe us a late fee.. what? Rant over - thank you so much for any insight or direction pointing.

2022.01.26 23:26 domoronnoc1 How to play Tank Chellenge modded map on an unmodded server?
Not sure if anyone is familiar with the Tank Challenge map, it's a custom map from the steam workshop. Can someone please tell me how to play on an unmodded server? The game used to function just fine, with tanks coming at set intervals, more tanks coming every round. Now, I just get "Poncho's Perkmod" which makes the tanks invisible, able to throw special infected, shoot lightning. I got another weird Best Available Dedicated server that had "cobalt tanks" and "ice tanks". The game is basically unplayable and I want my regular old map back. Anyone got any advice?

2022.01.26 23:26 daknez How to us the “Like” condition.
I have a table and one of the columns is an ID column.
The IDs are 19 digit long numbers.
I was given a list of IDs to look up information about in this table but the problem is that IDs on this list only show the first 15 digits of the ID.
I am able to find the IDs using a Like statement but I can do only one at a time.
SELECT * FROM ID_Table WHERE ID Like (‘123456789999999%’)
How can I look info about multiple IDs at once instead of running the statement above each time with a different ID?

I hope this is the right place to be asking these questions. But, I am new to reloading and doing research now before i purchase soon. I am looking at Dillon Precision since their store is so close to me. But do i need to actually get a brass trimmer? Is it necessary?
What would be a good shopping list to get myself started to make 223 and 9mm?
I apologize if this is the wrong place for this or is a dumb question. Just a guy trying to exercise his rights to stay safe and do planking.

2022.01.26 23:26 syd_fishes Trainee jobs: what's your success story?
Looking to transition out of retail and food/beverage service jobs. I've got about 9 years retail and 2 years of bartending/expo restaurant experience. I actually have a college degree, but they cut my major in the last couple months they were withholding my piece of paper(I owed some money). So it's a bachelor of arts in like general studies or some shit haha. Was originally Latin American Studies (political science/history) if that matters.
I'm dabbling with learning programming, but I think I'd be better served getting into a so-called professional environment in the mean time. Likely years if I'm being realistic. I'm finding myself stressing over getting some certification or job training on my own, but I don't know shit about these jobs. I haven't done em yet. I don't want to make the same mistake I did in college by paying for training and not knowing how to leverage it or finding out I don't have any interest in the field I trained in. All I know is I'm done with food and retail.
So I've been looking at "trainee" jobs requiring a bachelor's at most. Maybe customer service experience preferred. Anyone have success in one of those roles? Meaning, one that says they'll train you up. I've seen a bunch in insurance. Real estate ones seem fishy to me. The most exciting to me so far are ones that seem tech or tech adjacent, but I'm skeptical that a company would take on that cost upfront when there are all these bootcamps out there.
How'd you make a transition? Did your bite the bullet and get some certs? Or did you find someone willing to train you up without exact previous experience? Any help appreciated!

2022.01.26 23:26 No-Communication2332 30-45 minutes between getting orders in a busy zone
This entire month has been completely slow in a normally busy zone. Even right now I’m sitting in a large busy hotspot and it takes up to 45 minutes for DD to ping my phone. They have already ended my dash for declining too many orders. They didn’t even pause me like they normally do. 😂 I’ve signed up for spark. Im about to drop DD if customers can’t get back to tipping and DD start sending me orders.
